Starting in 1963, Carlo has been designing products and architectures since fifty years now, joined by Anna and Paolo more than twenty years ago. Bartoli Design has made numerous successful collaborations with leading companies in the furniture sector.

'Our studio is like a Renaissance workshop, a team of people, confront, discuss, criticize or disassemble ideas, then re-assemble them, during the design process.

We like to design products that will last for years- the most important quality for us -, not intrusive and that give the feeling of being always been where you place them. Products that stimulate the imagination and improve life at the same time provide comfort and well-being'.

Compasso d'Oro ADI, Red Dot Award, IF Award, Materialica Design Award and Good Design Award.

Carlo Bartoli's work is exhibited in museum collections, from the MOMA in New York and the Centre Pompidou in Paris, to the Triennale in Milano. Carlo Bartoli was appointed 2012 Apostle of Design.

Mercury is the result of our continuous innovation over the past six years, during which each member of our team played his own part and focused on the littlest detail to finally bring about the birth of Mercury, a chair combining the beauty of reason and sensibility.
